There will be Romanian CodeCamp event at Cluj on 19.11.2016 and I’m invited there with my Windows IoT Core and eisbock brewing presentation. Talking about building real-life solutions is one of my favorite things and for CodeCamp Cluj I have prepared nice presentation that makes attendees think about good things like beer and be more innovative when thinking about things around us that can be automated.
Brewing Eisbock at Cluj
As there are 45min sessions at CodeCamp I have a little bit modified presentation for this event. The introduction part will be shorter and focus will be heavily on code and technical/implementation side of services. As this presentation is more advanced than simple introduction to Windows 10 Iot Core and it works in real-life too then I will demonstrate some more complex code too to give you idea how to automate things and how to benefit from more complex architecture.
The agenda of my presentation is here:
- Short overview of brewing eisbock beers and mathematics of freezing
- Raspberry Pi, components and cabling
- Building background service for Windows 10 IoT
- Reading sensors and reporting measurements
- Visualizing data on Excel, Power BI and apps
- Demo: Monitoring real-time measurements using different applications
Technologies covered: Windows 10 Iot Core, Visual Studio, Raspberry PI, Azure IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, SQL Server, Excel, Power BI, UWP.
Target audience: developers who are interested in building Windows 10 IoT Core solutions.
NB! I will be there at event venue after my presentation and everybody who has more questions about my presentation can come to me and feel free to ask. I can give advice about how to build applications for Windows 10 IoT, how to use Azure IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, Power BI and how to build applications to support this kind of solution.
See you at CodeCamp Cluj!
