In the beginning of year I bought Lumia 950 and got Continuum with it for free. Lumia 950 is excellent phone and I started experimenting with it. I have one big OneNote notebook that I need also on my Windows Phone. While this notebook was not very big synchronization worked well on both WP8 and WP10. But after growing over 120MB both phones had suddenly synchronization issues. Notebook was usually synchronized partially with many pages missing from WP and some changes to existing pages were never synchronized to phone. One limitation on Windows Phone 7 is related to System.Net namespace classes. There is no convenient way to read data from web. There is no WebClient class. There is noGetResponse() method – we have to do it all asynchronously because compact framework has limited set of classes we can use in our applications to communicate with internet. In this posting I will show you how to read RSS-feeds on Windows Phone 7.
